Default Where can I get cheap tool

I need Tools, 3301, 3367 and 3350. ECS has it but a little expensive for me. Does anyone know where I can get these cheaper?

being that the vast majority of us are not Audi technicians and have no idea what those three numbers refer to, could you describe the tools you need?

what he said
too lazy to search for what those are but when I did my timing belt there really wasn't anything, tool wise, that I couldn't improvise, or do without. The exceptions being the cam-lock bar or the crank lock pin but depending on what, specifically you are doing you may not need them anyway.

you could try looking for folks who have bought the tools for one job and are now selling them because they don't need them anymore. happens from time to time

Part #s as per Bently.

I am trying to pull the Bushing for Fan Clutch Bearing out of its housing. If you ever have to remove the Beaing out, you need those tools. I suppose I will go to Advance Auto and see what they have.

I very much doubt advance will have VAG specific tools like that, but like i said if you can describe them or post pictures we might be able to help you a little more

The Bearing that holds this, is what I want to pull out. Bushing puller.

Kind of looks like this.

You can always find a matco/snap-on truck, each salesman is different though, ymmv. I'm not certain why you aren't just changing the entire fan clutch assembly? The tools you are looking for can be pretty expensive, I would assume too expensive for a one time job. I think my bearing puller set was a couple hundred dollars.

Cant really suggest another place for vag specific tools since Samstag Sales is usually my last resort. They are usually cheaper with certain tools not unless ECS is having a sale.
