I'm just going to jack it up high enough to get jack stands under it. Should have plenty of room to work.

Hope you have some long extensions and swivel sockets! Just make SURE that when you are turning on the lower nuts that you don't strip the heads. Make sure without a doubt that the socket is straight and flush on the nut before applying pressure. Theyll be rusted all to hell and strip very easily. You def. don't want that to happen because then youll be disconnecting pretty much the whole exhuast to pull the dp/cat out, which i don't think is even possible with a tip, but probably with a manual. I'm not sure if you have tip, but since the tranny is wider, there is less working/seeing room in the tunnel where the dp/cat is.

Yeah, I've got some swivel sockets and long extensions, and yes, I do have a Tip.

Thanks again for your precautionary advice....I sure hope this goes well.

Dude it took me like 8 hours to get my test pipe in. It was horrible. 5 hours was spent trying to get a solid grasp on just one of the nuts that I could't even see (heh). Good luck!

Yeah...my buddy is coming over to help me. I helped him put a clutch in his SAAB last Saturday, so he owes me.

I've always had to use the side pinch welds since my car is too low for anything else. Getting it on a lift at school is a pain.

just get 2 small (probably 2" tall x 4" wide or so) block of wood, and drive into your garage about 4" behind where you want to work on your car, get out, set the pieces of wood directly infrount of your wheels touching them, get in your car, drive on top of the pieces of wood, get out, put jack under your car (shouldnt matter what kind of jack now) and your good to go!

(this is what i had to do anyhow, worked good)
