Ok. Looking at the car from the front with the hood open look to your right. There will be your intetcooler. Follow the hose from the throttle body to the intercooler if thats easier for you. I dont have a map sensor so I cant send you a picture.

AH! I forgot again lol

I'll go down to the garage and take one right now. Sorry!!

EDIT: Here ya go. This picture was taken standing directly in front of the car. I labeled everything to give you a frame of reference since it's sort of a close picture. The MAP sensor is inside the big red circle. Sorry about the wash out, it was taken with a cellphone and a flashlight

edit: have every out searching now .. find no such contact on top of the driver's side .... My audi a audi a4 quattro 1.8ts 1999, but a very late 1999, so it counts as a 2000 in many places when you look it up: (might not have any mapsensor then :/

Yeah MAP-equipped cars didn't start until the ATW engine code. If you take the plastic engine cover off you'll be able to see the engine code stamped on the head.

There are more ways to cheat the system so they can raise the charge pressure with? Has a valve I will adjust to but it will go into limp mode, I think

No. Without a MAP sensor, there's no way to up the boost without going into limp mode. Just buy a chip.
