Where would I go about getting a 2.7
You would be much better off finding a car that came from the factory with one. There is much more than just swapping an engine. You have to consider transmission compatibility , ecm , tcm , & the other electronics like abs & traction control & how they tie in with the vehicle.

Bullshit thats all horse **** everyone does the 2.7tt swap its cheap and easy and never came from the factory. you need a harness two turbos, might aswell go big turbo while your there. then get all the other piping you need and then your going super fast while you search the forums to truly answer this question.
bones is expressing the frustration that many of us have felt from answering this question over and over again. The bottom line is, it will be FAR cheaper and more feasible to have a car with a 2.7t in it if you buy one that came that way (ie, an S4)
The exceptions to this rule are someone who has a lot of fabrication experience, access to a lot of free time and money, and can source a donor car for REALLY cheap. Like unreasonably cheap.
