White smoke any way to disengage turbo?

Default White smoke any way to disengage turbo?

ok i have a 99 1.8t and its spewing white smoke.turbo works and no power loss so i imagine its a seal in the turbo.is there anyway to temp disengage the turbo? Just has to be for a few days till i get a rental or new car.also is there anything but a new turbo that will fix the problem?thanks in advance

There's really no way to keep the exhaust gas from spinning the turbine wheel except taking the turbo off completely. You can rebuild the K03 if you don't want to buy a new one
