I own a 2001 Audi a4 1.8TQ with 192k miles on it. When I down shift I see a nice old cloud of white smoke flowing out of the exhaust, it smells like coolent. Does anybody know what can cause this? I have a apr DV, stage 1 giac chip, Borla exhaust and I really feel bad for the people behind me. Mutual boost gauge is pushing 12 psi. Went to 3 shops 2 say I need a new turbo and the other says I need a new waste gate. I don't want to just start spending money randomly and not fix it. Thanks for your responses ahead of time.
