Default For you lowered guys...

How far are you lowered in the front and how often are you changing front tires?

I'm lowered about 2 inches in the front, IIRC camber is at 1.5 degrees. I've had my tires for 16,000 miles and have probably another 4,000 in them. They are a 340 treadwear max performance summer tire.

I don't know how far I'm lowered but I'm basically around 21-22 FTG in the front and camber at -2.5. If you don't have any toe issues, your tires should last you a decent amont of time with -2 camber.

Stock non-sport suspension on my 99.5 was 27" ground to fender. So you're about 5-6".

I've even heard of cars running up to -3* camber without excessive wear. That was on a Subaru though. I can't imagine it would differ too much make to make.

Toe is what really shreds tires in a short amount of time.

Yup. I'm 2" lower or 25" GTF with 0.1 deg total toe in the front -1.5 deg camber with no tire issues.

Just be sure to get an alignment after you're done lowering. Changing the height of the car will change toe and camber.

toe kills tyres far quicker than camber im doing @300-360 miles per week and my tyres are currently okay even with a little play on the top arms
