The winner will be the one who can drive. You could get murdered by a Civic EX if the guy is a much better driver than you. You could take out an LS1 Camaro if its driver sucks. On paper you should win. On the pavement it depends as much on the driver's skill as anything else.

it really depends on the year. and how 'stock the car is' if you know the kid well and it really is 100% stock, most likely you will get him from a roll, probably not a 1/4 from a dead stop. good luck with this one and keep us posted. (and +1 to the track, but if he lives somewhere like i do where the nearest track is 1.5 hours away i understand if that cant be arranged)

Really? You think? The ex is a 17sec car and dont even think you can get low 16's with all bolt ons. You would have to miss 2nd AND 3rd to even make it close.

Raced a stock '02 SI with my basic mods on a roll and had no problems. If you get a slight uphill, it'll seem like he's not racing. P.S. Street racing is dangerous. Be smart.

That's my whole point - if the person driving can't drive (or gets too much adrenaline rush from it, causing missed gears etc), then it probably won't make too much difference what the other guy is in - he'll still likely win.

^ you would lose... badly. The crx weighs nothing and with a worked B16 he could be seeing 13's where your heavy wagon will take much more than a chip.

didnt end up racing... kid dropped out.... But ive been in his car and when the vtech kicks in puts a good punch but when my turbo's spooling at 17 psi... theres no way he would beat me from a roll... I think he knows my cars faster then his... he just dont wana lose...
