Why does my hood sit lower than my side panels?
my hood is the only thing low on my car...how sad right? about 2 mm low. anyone know how come? i checked the bolts and connectors for the hood and they arent loose or detatched. any suggestions or input would be appreciated
**note the only reason it bothers me is because the hood isn't flush with the one piece headlights i installed.

Did you do a swap? if so thats the line where the 2 piece would split... im assuming its jus ta tad lower with the two piece and considerign tis not meant for a 2 piece then thats why. Or the rubber stops from your hood are missing

now you are going to make me see if mine is the same way.

never done a swap. but, from what i could...there are foam pieces missing that should lift the hood up. im guessing. so im gonna cut some old coolant tubing from my old honda and stick it under there to see if it makes a difference. i know it's not a BIG issue but everytime i walk by i look at it...it drives me nuts

There are 2 rubber stoppers on either side of the hood that allow you to adjust where the hood sits when it is closed. Just turn it so there is more of it and that will raise the hood slightly to match the fender line.

you know i was looking at this. and they have little arrows on them. so i match the arrows to where they are tight and at its lowest point. so i guess i should just loosen them up to make them stick out more. ty for that.. i completely disregarded that for some stupid reason

haha thanks man. i know exactly why. i drive f***ing slow and here in SoCal we don't have too much rubble on the road...we have garbage, furniture, tons of rusty nails, and sand on our roads.
