Windows stopped moving up and down
Hi there
i have a 1999.5 A4 1.8T Quattro. My windows stopped moving up and down. The drivers main console and all doors own controller do not work.
The Cabin lights, and alarm still work fine.
I have checked the wires in between the door and the body for breaks, i did not see any. Is there any instructions on how to remove the door panel to access the driver window controller? I cannot seem to find any. Does anyone have any additional suggestions on what may be causing this issue?
Thank you!

Removing the door panel isn't too tough but I don't remember where I found a how-to.
You kinda just have to look all around for bolts that hold it on until you find them all. They are on all around the outside + in the handle area? Once you get it off you can see if there's any electronics unplugged or other issues.
Here's an example vid that's probably pretty close (there's a million others, just google):

Hey thanks for the video, i was able to find one and i got my door off. I was unable to spot and breaks in the wires and the connections on the control panel are not corroded at all, look brand new.
funny thing is now that i took it off and put it back on my power locks dont work.. i definitly did not mess up re installing the cabling, maybe a wire is broken and not visible from the outside.
got any more tips on how to investigate this? a wiring diagram maybe that shows from the fuse panel to the door control?
thanks
