A new thing to fix...Hi guys! My wipers won't shut off...I can minimize their operation to almost off with delay but not all the way off...the car has been sitting around the body shop getting dusty and not used but it's almost done!...finally!....Maybe the switch is dirty? and it'll fix itself with more use?..It has been an intermittent problem (no pun intended) before, but this time it's not going away....anyone had this problem....01 quattro w 74000 miles...thanks now...cliff

wiper combi switch is shot, mine did the same thing. it won't go away on its own, you're gonna have to take the airbag out, take the steering wheel off, and replace the switch
