Well, if you read my last thread about trying to get my radio code, you'll know that now I'm stuck w/out a radio till I can get the damn code for mine. Looks as if I will have to pull out the radio and get the serial# off of it. I know from reading that you're supposed to use the removal "keys" but it sounds like people are able to fab their own or use something else. What I'm trying to find out and searching for is what exactly you do with the keys, where do you insert them, what do you do with them, etc. Any other tips for getting the damn radio out?

 

stick a long thin nail file in the little slits, do one side at a time, and then pull the unit out by the cassette hole. You'll see whats up once you start.
