Default Wooden Steering Wheel

Anybody every do anything like this? I saw one of these looking threw a muscle car mag and thought it would add to the 'classic' look of the wood grain in our cars. You would want to match the color the way you want, lighter, darket whever. And there are so many different styles that you can choose from chrome, black or all wood. What ya think? I think its in the opposite direction of 'ricer' lol.

i think it looks fine on cars with thinner steering coloms.... ie metal aftermarket, but that big bulky colom looks gay with that little steering wheel

also you might have to have the airbag for saftey, so make sure you won't fail because of that

Not on an Audi. Put it on a Chevelle SS.

Totally agree with the steering column comment. I also feel that the polished center is off from the interior. Thirdly, if you get in a wreck, insurance will **** you for no airbags. But don't be afraid to try something different. Only you are stopping yourself.

If you could get one with wood inserts on leather (like the way M-B and Lexus do it) and the tones matched right, it would probably look really good. Otherwise, nope.

A wood steering wheel belongs in my MG. Not in an Audi.
