I have probably a wheel bearing noise, the traditional Audi wum wum wum which goes away when I turn right. So, it must be on the right side as discussed in other threads.

My question, if Audi bad wheel bearings don't necessarily show up with play at the wheels, how do I tell if it's front or back?

I know, replace both, LOL!

Do like I did, and have your wife/mistress/f*ckbunny drive the car while you hang your head outside the passenger side and listen.
