Default yayy for the noob....but seriously - misfire codes

1st week down with the new to me Audi. Already got a ton of info off this site lerking around and managed a couple quick cures.

I pulled a couple codes recently:
16684 - random misfire
16685 - cylinder 1 misfire
16688 - cylinder 4 misfire
17544 - fuel trim lean

I'm assuming the first 3 are related........plugs or bad coil packs?
and would those 3 misfires trigger the fuel trim code? From what i've been seeing maybe the MAF and O2 sensors will need to be replaced too.

Thanks.......and I'll get some pics up as soon as i dig out of this dayuum snow!

Given the last code i would say you got a pretty good sized vacuum leak or the MAF has gone to pot. Since you have an ATW block you don't have an output stage to replace, so i would start hunting for leaks.

i had to replace all 4 coils on my ATW when i got it. also make sure your plugs are gapped right. nothing else will cause a misfire on this engine except vacuum leaks and your first 02 sensor
