That's weird... if you type in Autozone part # 3922, it comes up as a BKR7E priced @ $3.99/each. Part #s 4644 and 7928 both come up as BKR7E also, priced @ $2.49. Now that's confusing!

You know you're a b5 owner when you often turn down your radio because you thought you heard a new noise.

You know you're a B5er when you just finished reading a 52 pages post just to know what typical problems have other owners because you are a new B5er.

Also you know you're a B5er when you're anxious to drive it and can't wait till morning.

^ I second that

You know you're a B5'er....
  • If you know you can't take an open drink with you because you know the first corner you take will be your last with a dry car
  • If on the way back from off-campus lunch you have your friends take your drink for you in their car
  • If the door jams are always dirty
  • If you really want to replace your front valence but you just can't seem to get yourself to dish out the hundred bucks to do so
  • If the volume control on your radio doesn't always work right(delta)
  • If after you put in your 3.5mm to casette tape in your radio you couldn't figure out how to eject the tape (delta [hold fwd and bkwd buttons together])
  • If you're missing the mounting brackets for your engine cover
  • If you read the manual and thought the lights were fully automatic, then left your lights on overnight and had to push start your car the next day
  • If every corner is a fun corner
  • If the first time you drove your car you thought 1st gear was broken because it sounds weird
  • If your first couple fill-ups were with regular 87 gas but since then you cleaned your fuel door and learned your car takes 91 ('97 2.8l v6)
  • If the emblem on the bottom of your steering wheel has begun to fade and you don't know what it's called (S-Line Steering Wheel Badge ecs buy)
  • If on rainy days you actually enjoy your car more
  • If one of your keys (or only key) has a button and what looks like IR but it's actually just an LED that is controlled by the button (remember to replace the battery and the LED)
  • If you have this fob and tried controlling your windows using the buttons but that failed, only the key in the door method working (still bad ***)
  • If you have the above fob and it looks as if it had melted
  • If you bought your B5 second+ hand and have plans to restore your B5 to the best condition and possibly add mods, though you may never have the money to even fix the issues that come up before you can even replace that front valence
If you read the 52 pages of posts leading up to this post and learned some tricks as well as what to expect to go wrong

Haven't read all 52 pages so don't know if this is a repeat, but I'm a B5 owner because I keep a spare rear wheel bearing in the trunk.
