also, the tranny mount was shot to ****. The rubber bushing part was barely attached to the metal housing. I highly suggest to everyone they change their motor and tranny mounts if you havent. Makes a HUGE difference. With SS and the new mounts all the way around, thing feels great.
I'll be doing my motor and tranny mounts shortly.. I can't wait. I get some pretty annoying vibrations under acceleration.. Sometimes..

Yea, its a pretty amazing difference in the feel of the car. I just used oem ones, nothing fancy.

It's crazy what a simple bashing can do.

I'm Debating on whether I should get some 034/stern mounts or just go with oem ones from ecs for half the price. Will there be a big difference in feel from oem to aftermarket "street density" style mounts? If so, how bad are the vibrations if any?

I was sure I had already posted in here but it would seem not. Sadly enough this list sits in a .txt file on my desktop because I edit it so often...Drive home from school, "what's that noise? ooooooh...add it to the list".

225 000km and going strong(ish).

- Buy/Install Winter Tires
- Oil Change
- Rear Callipers (so I can use my handbrake again, same as imthedevil)
- Change springs (back left spring missing half a turn causing some rub on the strut)
- Replace side mirrors (you know what I'm talking about)
- Patch/fix/buy new wiper fluid tank (it leaks if it's more than half full or so)

-Oil Level Sensor (oil temp does not show up in dash)
-02 sensor? (intermittent code)

- Buy/install boost Gauge
- Fix center console (single din radio in a double din spot )
- Front Strut Mounts (fml)

That's about it for now...

Nothing... it's perfect. It runs strong and rides amazing. It's like it rolled off the lot yesterday.

And it's for sale. Cheap. Who wants it?

I had this issue too, but mine was the result of a cracked headlight washer reservoir... the windshield washer reservoir and headlight washer reservoir are linked by a hose so I deleted the entire headlight washer system and capped off the port where that hose went.

I've got those parts sitting around... One of these days LOL. At one point I removed one of the struts and attempted to replace the mount, but couldn't get the nut off the top of the strut

Oh wow, I didn't realize that could be the issue. I will definitely check that out.

As for the strut mounts, they're sitting on a shelf in my room, we're in the same boat lol.

hahaha i also felt like i had posted already in this thread.. and i also have a document saved on my desktop of all the things i want/need/have already done to the car haha.. im actually really surprised as to how much ive accomplished already.. the worst part is im kinda a weirdo when it comes to things being clean and stuff.. and the thing i hate most about my car is all the little body work bits that need to be done for me to be satisfied lol..

-Align fenders with hood, etc.. body lines are all outta whack from the 2 deer and OWL i have hit........ gotta love Vermont
-Align Drivers door.. cause apparently it isnt
-Find out what in the **** this stupid knocking/clacking noise is coming from what sounds to be my steering column, particularly when i turn left and go slow over dirt roads.. and seems to make it much louder when its warm out?
-Fix some rust on my drivers side rear quarter, and inside the rear drivers door..
-Tranny and gear fluid swap out... im sure itd help
-VC gaskets.. been one of those things i just keep putting off...
-AC situation... hasnt worked "well" since i bought the car, but after i hit the second deer, it punched in my passenger headlight and lower grille and now my compressor wont even turn on... hahaha no bueno...

i think if all that **** was fixed.. given the mods ive done already.. id prolly be happy.. and id prolly make a ****** meet in NY.. and id prolly stop cussin..... and drink less... no, i take that back, i wouldnt drink less...
