01 A6 or 03 A4?
I have a choice
the 2001 2.7T Silver/Black 85k $11k $2k down $360 a month 42 months
or
the 2003 1.8T Maroon/Tan 88k $13k $1k down around $400 a month
One is from a small dealership with no warrenty
the A4 is from the very prestiegious Livermore audi with apparently a 100k warrenty
which one is the better car and which one is a better deal?
I think the A4 is quattro, the 2.7T only comes in quattro

you must have a high interest rate lol, 2 grand down and 360 a month for an 11000 loan? thats around 17k and some change, id look around for a better rate!!

the a4 seems a bit pricey as well... dependin on the specifics of the warranty, its not mine or anyone else on here's business, but find out your interest rate, then shop around a little bit to a few different banks to see what there going rate is... also before you buy either one of them i would make sure they have had the services done, as far as timing belt water pump and tensioner... cause if not then you will wind up replacing that within a years time... good luck, just tryin to give a few pointers hope ive been helpful!!
he told me I will prolly get a 14% Rate, and I looked up the VIN its a 2004 not an 03, also keep in mind I havnt had a car loan before, first time buyer here, and I am kinda willing to pay whatever it takes to get a nice audi, I can afford it
well hey go for it!! if its what you want than get it, be sure to keep us posted, i didnt mean to offend you if i did, just tryin to help you save some money, i just hate to see banks take peoples money lol 14% is high even for a first loan... if it were me personally id try a few different banks but thats just me i would like the extra few grand over the few years im payin on it for mods and what have you... good luck and again KEEP US POSTED!![8D]
nah you didnt offend me, I just kinda wish some people would help me out on the choice though, because I know no matter what I have to accept these rates.. my credit is bad and I have a cosigner with ok credit
the 04 A4 is really nice and my favorite color, and it still smells brand new and the engine sounds fantastic
the 01 A6 has a much more powerful Engine... and is an A6.... IDK that seems to be all there is...? anyone have any insight?

well pretty much the a6 is alot nice car, bigger etc... but thats also a higher model with a bigger/better motor, and with all that being said its going to be alot more expensive to repair, and gas will be a big factor as i just paid 3.95 for 93 octane the other day, the a6 may get 17 mpgs... the 1.8t will obviously get better gas milage, a little cheaper to repair and smaller... my opinion is if you dont plan on modding it too much or dont really care, just want something nice and comfortable to drive, get the a6 hands down IMHO, looking for decent gas milage and a decent car go with the a4... im not sure about the mods for the a6 but i know there are some out there especially for the motor... good luck!!
PseudoKirby,
Look around for a better rate and take your time. If you can get 2 co-signers then it will really help lower the interest rate and allow you to establish your credit. One thing though, DON'T MISS A PAYMENT LOL... It just gets worst from there if you do.
Oh yeah and I'd go for the 04 A4... Newer and worth the hit financially.
