I have an 03 audi a4 and I have been having a problem with my headlights. When I turn my car on, the lights should be off until I turn the switch to turn them on. However, on some cases the lights turn on automatically along with my tail lights and side markers. I can get them to go off if i push the switch in towards the dash. I'm not sure if the switch should be able to be pushed in because there is nothing in the manual saying about its function. So, do I need a new headlight switch for my car or is there a different problem?

 

Your switch is bad. they go bad all the time. They're like 80 bucks.
