Hello hello. wow seems like there was some confusion for a bit here. No my car has not died recently nor have I had the battery changed. the ESP light has not come back on. that, coupled with the fact that the engine light isn't flashing or blinking, means it's most likely something emissions related and probably not a large mechanical issue (says the audi dealer). so im a bit more reassured.

on a side note, I need new front rotors. any recommendations besides the ones audi will replace them with?

 

Check out ECS tuning or Dubtuning (that's where I got my whole set), also Europaparts have OEM replacement parts at a decent price.

 

Check the button on the middle of the dash. IIRC I've bumped it and had that light come on and spook me.

And obviously spring for an owners manual. It'll help with some other questions you may have arise.

Why do people lose/throw out/misplace owners manuals? Especially on an Audi where you actually can store them under the steering wheel? There's a great pocket/shelf there that the manual and it's leather folder fits nicely into.

 

HOLY CRAP BATMAN!

Im making a painfully embarassing admission that I had no idea my manual was there! When I bought the car the guy said he had no idea where it was anymore. The nylon/leather folder...i thought it was related to tilting the steering column. thank you for that!!

I have Audi A4 2003 Air bag light illuminated on dash also cruise control not working this happened at the same time any answers please
