2001 1.8t
I was asking for advice on Reddit, and I was suggested to seek an audi forum for further diagnostics. I've had this car for 2 months now and I just noticed a clicking sound coming from the engine. It has almost 130k miles on it. I looked up a few youtube videos with people who had the same sound from their 2001 A4, but they never post the result/solution.
And while I'm here I might as well ask:
It's a manual and whenever I try to drive around in the first gear, it really rough and bouncy. This is my first manual car so idk if this is normal, a friend told me it is not. For example if I drive in first gear at idle, the lightest touch of the gas will sort of jolt the car forward and a little back. It's not a rough jolt, just as if the clutch had a rubbery bouncing effect. This problem is barely there in 2nd gear and non existent in any higher gear. Is this normal?
