Hello everyone,

I am looking for some sort of advice. I have got this intermittant issue. Something has been bad for some time right now. Sometimes it will not crunk. Whenever I put the key and turn it on it will beep six times. I do not know what makes it start again. All I do is just trying to switch the gears (as advised by the audi tech), but that does not seem to solve it instantly. Sometime I keep trying for a longer time without any results, than I leave and come back next day, and it will start.

Any idea what could that be?

 

Manual or Auto.... if its manual and you start it in gear and the starter is hanging up... Sometimes it will free it up so it will work properly.

For me.... i would be going the route of ignition switch, but i would want to make sure the key and immobilizer are working properly

 

Thank you for the answer. It is automatic. I have tried the spare key and that did not help. I just went down to the garage again and tried switching gears and try to start and it did after few tries.
