Default 2002 A4 parking light issue

Hey guys, here's new one. Last year my wife got into an accident with her 2002 A4 1.8 quattro and it has a new aftermarket TYC driver side headlamp. Now when we drive at night wih the headlamps on, or even the parking lights for that matter, only when we use the driver side turn signal, the parking light turns on and off (about 3 seconds on and 3 seconds off) in the front and the back too. It's acting like the turn signal is interfering with the parking light. Anyone else ever had this happen?

Sounds like there's some wires crossed or some light bulbs on the wrong side. I've seen this before but not in an Audi, I saw it on an old 1978 GMC pick up, we put the wrong end of the wire in the taillight housing and this happenned.

it might be a cheaply made assembly but it costs 400 dollars from an aftermarket source, be careful and take your time.

Yup, as I figured, the grround and the hot for the parking filament in the headlight was wirted reverse. Totally messing with the car. Fixed now all is good
