PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

When I turn my car on my hazard lights also come on and stay on for about 5-6 minutes and then they shut their selves off. Left blinkers nd right blinkers still work.

I have been told by different places that it could be related to my immobilizer (the light with the key on it is flashing), a short in the wires, a simple new Hazard light relay or a coffee spill.

I HAVE TO GET THIS FIXED AND CAN'T AFFORD TO TAKE IT NTO THE DEALERSHIP SO ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, I was wondering if you have found a solution to your hazard lights? I just purchased a 2002 A4 and has the identical issue. My lights blink as soon as I start the car and last for 4 minutes. Certain functions don't work and was told had to do with the immobilizer module. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I have the same issue on my audi aswell i've been doing some researching on the problem... seems like the most plausible issue is the hazard switch, apprently its a common issue & also only costs about 35$ to fix (depending on location) i hope i have been of some kind of help....

 

Hello, I have the same problem with my 2002 Audi a4. I bought it in January and i thought the problem was an easy fix. This is driving me crazy and I love the car but I am about to light it up on fire. Has any one found a solution for this? I already changed the button and still the same. I turn on the car and the emergency/hazard lights turn on for the first 3 - 5 minutes of the car being on. There os no way of turning them off. Help anyone please?
