Default 2003 a4 strange noise after sea foam

Hello all,

Hoping for some help. I have a 2003 A4, which was having a random oil pressure light appear. It normally was appearing after driving the car about 15 minutes.

So I replaced the pressure sensor, changed the oil and oil filter, and the light still happened however less then before. I have had the pressure manually tested, it was between 35 and 40 psi which according to Audi is acceptable. The random oil pressure light kept happening so upon reading a suggestion on this forum, I put sea foam in. Also sea foamed the vaccumn lines.

At first everything was great, the oil pressure light remained off, the car drove normally, no abnormal sounds. THen after about 20 minutes of driving I noticed the oil pressure light was back on, and there were new sounds which the best way i can describe them is they sound like gurguling and bubbling from the middle to the rear of the car. From the front of the car it sounds like a VERY loud clicking , it honestly sounds like the car is about to die. ANY help appreciated . Would u guys drain the oil and all the sea foam out or what? TIA

dave

i would take it out.... you pick-up tube could be clogged.... honestly, unless you have someone around you that you trust to look at your car, i would take it in and let the pro's fix it.... gurgling in the rear after seafoam? never heard of it, ticking is normal, but without hearing it, you could of washed the gunk out that needed to be where it was, cause the motor was used to it being that and are letting things get where they need not be... lack of pick-up could be a boost leak or anything else.... and what is the code?

i dont have a VAG to check the codes did not want to drive to have them pulled. ticking noise is really loud say if you were to put a pencil in a spinning fan blade. iont think its a boost issue as the car picked up just fine prior to sea foam. i dont know if i mentioned that used sea foam in the gas when i filled up. thanks for the response any additional info would be great.
