Hello, Good Morning.
I bought a 2004 Audi A4 Quattro couple of months back from a Lexus dealer. When I took the test ride it was fine. It has been 2 months now and my car is pulling towards the right. The intensity of the pull is more after I take a right turn.
The rating on the car tire is "235/45 ZR 17 97W" and the pressure is 35PSi on all. Is the tire pressure correct?
I called Audi dealership and they quote around $250 for checking the wheel alignment. Though my car is under warranty, I was told that Audi doesn;t cover wheel alignment. Does the wheel alignment costs $250? This is the first time I am owning a German car and I am not sure if I can take my car to Firestone/Midas to check the alignment.
Pleaseeeeeeeeee let me know if you have any suggestions...

You don't need to go to Audi to get an alignment but finding a good local shop is important. If you hit a serious pot hole on the right side it could have thrown the alignment off but it is possible something else is wrong with the suspension. So it depends on what exactly your warranty covers. If it were me I would jack up the front wheel and see if there is any play in the wheel from side to side. You could also have someone turn the wheel without jacking the car up and watch the wheel to see if it moves correctly or if there is slop in the turning. If you don't know about such things then I wouldhave a good front end shop check it out. If parts are bad you could then find out if they are covered under warranty.

 

If u go to local auto shop, regular 4-wheel alignment is around $70-100 !!!
