Hey al, new to the forum! i recently bought a used 2004 A4 1.8t auto.. car is very clean and has 110,000 miles. i was in traffic today and noticed between 20-30 mph the cars rpms go up 100 or so like it is searching for a gear, if i stay at this speed it will do this every 20 seconds or so. nothing major but wanted to know if this is a sign the trans computer is starting to go, i see these transmissions tend to blow up on people. i guess i am a moran for buying the car without detailed service records but what do u think i should do next without spending a lot of money

any advice ?
