My 2005 A4 has gone through 2 sets of headlights in less than a year. I've been using the Silverstar Ultras both times. Is this a common problem with the A4's or is it with the Ultras?

Also, for some odd reason it keeps blowing taillights too. Maybe once every 4-6 months so it's not constantly. We haven't tested it for a short but wanted to see if this was a common problem.

 

not common sounds like u got bare wire touching somewhere

 

Agreed. I have not replaced my head or tail lights for over 2 years so it may be a short somewhere.
