If you want the look in the engine compartment it would be fine. I think you will be pulling in hotter air since it is open and so close to the exhaust manifold but it will be less restrictive. I also do not think the air filter will be worth much since it says it can be cleaned with anything. I would suggest upgrading to a K&N conical at some point.
