hello everyone, i have a question for you...

I was thinking about uplugging my 6 disk, so i can plug in my Ipod... but i wont be able to use my disk player after that? correct?

There's some adapters that you can get to use the I pod and the 6 disc, but you can't use them at the same time, you just choose the input without doing all the disconnecting. I think the product you're looking for is called DICE I pod adapter.

I looked at the DICE website, and they dont say if you can switch between the cd player and ipod


Anybody else knows about any other device that can switch between them the cd and ipod???

casssette adaptor is the best way for mp3s in audis. unless u get that dice setup. But for 10 bucks the cassette is the way to go.

 

well i dont have an ipod , but i used a blitzsafe ( i think) adapter and all you have to do is pull out your head unit and plug it in ( follow instructions) the adapter selects an auxiliary cd changer line and all you have to do to switch between the mp3 player and cd changer is press the cd button
