I own a 2004 A4 cabriolet. the rear deck that covers the convertible roof when it folds away has somehow moved slightly on one side. Now the deck catches when the roof is lowered and has to be given a little bit of a push for the roof to completely close or open.

Has anyone else had or heard of this happening? I'm taking it in on Tuesday the 5th of July for my mechanic to try and move it back but i would really like to know how it could have moved in the first place.

I havent had any accidents in the car and the rear deck seems to be heald in place by some pretty sturdy looking brackets which dont look like they have moved at all.
