The lights that were on for a few days went off for 5-10 miles and BAM back on ,they stay off for a few miles and go off then BAM all back on .. I have one says BRAKES in red blinking at me and the other two lights as well ,a orange one ABS and the triangle one as well.. I thinking ABS Mod. has went bad .. The scanner picks up nothing on the brakes .. ANYBODY ...Thanks.. New deal the Air Bags light is on also .. Checked the plug looks good ???? Help...

Hi radar1,
Quick question: Did you try disconnecting the battery for about a minute, reconnect it and see if that cleared the issue?
I've never had this issue with my A4, but have had it numerous times with Chevy's, Oldsmobile's, and have seen it with friends Mazda's, Toyota's and BMW's. (side-note: Have never seen it with Kia, Subaru or Mercedes Benz .)
I know, sounds out there, but who really disconnects their battery when doing break work? Most don't. I learned the hard/costly way a decade or so ago.
Good luck and best wishes! I hope this helped.

Sorry, Radar1. I was hoping it could have been that easy.
Let me know what they find.
Have a great weekend!

I missed a call from the BBA-Rman. place ,the voice mail said they fixed the ABS-module witch is a good thing if not ??? What then . I replaced the pads and censers ETC.. The module being broken is good and being fixed is a very good thing can't beat the $129.95 , I was worried ,this should fix it ..

For others who read this, Module Masters does the same type of repair.

I had an 03 A3 and same light was coming on. Would always kick in after spinning off from a complete stop and not go away until the engine was re-started. Would you believe it was connected to the coolant temperature sensor... It costed me €10 and the issue went away!
Though my car was properly banjaxed, all electronics were funny in it!
