You will be fine until the stock one fails. How long it last depends on how long its been in use. It could die the same day or even last you a year.

u should change but u can i guess ride the stock on until it fails
you can get a cheap 710N valve which will do the trick if ur just gonna get a basic chip

diverter valve... i have the APR R1 which failed on my test drive after being flashed, im on my second one now... go 710N for a cheap fix or forge 007 for something tried and true

I called my mechanic yesterday to ask him about the DV, he said I have to do some research to find out the amount of PSI's each DV puts out, since I'm a noob I don't really know what he's talking about.

Sounds like he doesn't either....."puts out" It's how much psi it can hold. Serviceable ones like Forge and the like have different springs for higher boost apps. Just go with what was mentioned in this post. Here are some good ones. Forge 007, Baileys, APR R1, 710N (from the TT 225) Hyperboost....Just don't get a BOV and nothing from Ebay unless one of thos brands listed. IMO of course.

Thanks, will anyone of those handle the extra boost caused by the grade 1 chip??
