Hi
I have the conti extremes on my Volvo V70 wagon turbo and they were touted excellent and the price is right. The only downside is that this year there was no snow but they are excellent in the rain.
On my 3.0 Quattro l have the P6's but l believe they are pricey.
You never mentioned what engine you have and if you have a Quattro or not.

I also live in PA and have had great luck with the Michelin Pilot HX MXM4. I will be needing new ones soon and will more than likely get these again. They are a bit expensive but they hold up well and perform well in snow and dry weather too.
