First off...hello everyone.

I'm hardwiring my radar detector and could not find all of the info in the diy.

Car-03 A4 cab.

How did you remove the dome light? Which wire did you tap into in order for the power to be in sync with the ignition. I'm sure I'll find a ground while I'm in there, but that was the third question.

Thanks, I was hoping for a cab, they seem hard to find. This will get me started. My panel is only about 1/3 that size. So it looks like the panel pops off from the back?
