Audi A4 1.8T - New Spark Plugs & Gap
I just replaced all the coil packs and spark plugs in my 2005 A4. It has 36,000 miles and the owner's manual says to replace the plugs at 35,000 miles. Theoriginal plugs were NGK PFR6Q. The auto parts store only had Champion RC10PY4 which is supposed to be an equivalent plug. I set the gap at 0.75mm (approx 0.029"). Seems to run fine.
They're labeled as "Double Platinum" like the KGK's. Sounds like advertizing hype. Would you expect to have anyproblems switching to these plugs??

Cincy-
I just pulled a PO171 code from my car, so I was going to clean off my MAF and replace my plugs to try and correct.
NGK pulls up the PFR plugs for the 1.8t... and my cars not chipped yet so I would get the 6's,I guess my question is,are you recommending to go with the BKR's instead of the PFR's? What would I notice between the two?
