Hi Guys ive just bought an old hi mileage 2.5tdi cabrio it has an issue with cutting out at exactly 1175 rpm . just like key is being flicked off and on again quickly .
It starts well ,has loads of smooth power ,and no smoke. Just at exactly 1175 rpm (just under 1200 anyway) It cuts out .No other issues in the rev band at all .this happens everytime i hit this point .If i avoid this area by strategic gear changes i can avoid it happening . .here is a read out from diagnostics
