Audi A4 Covertible 2005 DEAD WINDOWS and ROOF
Hi Guys , helping a friend with an A4 conv.
Its floor pan got flooded and electrics went haywire since then.
been dried out but the convertible top and windows do not work.
Checked the fuse box and fuse no 24 and 38 were blown. replaced then and they have not blown again.
There are 3 modules for the convenience. One under the rear right panel No 8Ho 959 256 and 2 under the drivers seat (Right hand drive car ) 8HO 959 760 and 8Ho 959 760A. The seant work fine.
Just the roof and the windoes are not working.
Which one of these modules controls the roof and the windows. Or is there any additional fuse or relay I need to look at first.
Many thakns

Hi Virendra.
I wish I could help you with this.
I worked in the car insurance industry for ten years and saw many a flood claim. Usually, we 'total-lossed' the vehicles and settled quick due to massive electrical issues that would pop-up long after they dried out.
The biggest issue is internal corrosion of switches, and wiring.
Wish you luck,
-Mark

many thanks Mark, I ended up opening the 3 main computers located in the rear right door card, under the seat. Found one of them totally cooked. The others are bone dry. Ordered a used one to have a look if it makes it work as it was just USD 45. Will update you if it helps. many thanks
