Boost guage in an A4

so i'm putting in my boost guage in my 04 a4 quattro 1.8t tectronic 5 speed, but cant find a way to get the boost line from the guage past the fire wall! im stuck and its pissing my off!!! any ideas???

I found the easiest way to get the hose through was by the battery and you will have to take the glove box out to get it through.

there is a rubber tube going through the firewall into the ECU. Most people tap through there, its a straight shot from engine to cabin, and seal up the hole. works great for me
