Brake squeaking

RE: Brake squeaking
Mine do the same thing, I went up to Murray's and bought a can of "brake squeak" remover. You take your pads off, and coat them with this spray a few times and the squeak disappears completely. The spray was about 5 bucks, give that a try.

I have a relatively newA4(2007 model, 10K miles), still have the same problem
when braking to a stand still. Pretty annoying at times. But it dosn't happen
when braking just to slow down. Think I should have this fixedduring the next
scheduled service(15K miles).

I got this problem right now too. Doesn't bother me at the moment cause its winter and I cant hear it with the windows up. Come spring time I'm just going to replace the rotors. Local mechanic told me its because of rust on the edge of the rotor that catches on the pads to make the squeaking noise.
