Hi all,

I've got an Audi A6 2007 Tdi with 155k on the clock. The parking brake squeaks every time I put it on or take it off. Is there any simple fix for this or is it a garage job? I'm generally pretty ok with working on cars but not worked on an electronic parking brake before.
Any info would be much appreciated.

Wondering if you found a solution squeaking parking brakes?
I wonder if they could be adjusted or grease up to reduce the sound?

Does anyone know or have some solutions?

 

Just an update to my issue. I changed the rear pads on the car as they were getting low. This has sorted out my squeaking issue! Hope this helps.
