Hi all, rather new here and any info would be most appreciated. I have 2003 plate A4 Avant, 1.9 tdi estate. I had one break light failure a couple of weeks ago, with the current situation was unable to do anything about it. Now the other break light has gone as well. Checked and changed the bulbs, with no joy. checked break pedal switch which caused third break light to stay on pemanantly even when the car was turned off, also caused car to go limp mode initally when driving until stop and pull away again then drove normally. Replaced the switch and cured the limp mode and the third break light working normally now, but still no life in the two main break lights. Any have any ideas please, am desperate to get this solved as am a key worker here in the United Kingdom and need my car to bee safe for work. Many thanks in advance for any help that comes my way.
