the A.C. dual control blowing hot on passenger side when on low working ok on drivers side.
it's only cool till engine heats up then goes red hot

 

I've just picked up a 2005 Cabrio and it has the same issue on the drivers side. From a bit of searching I think the issue is the servo motors that open and close the flaps.

Ive been looking on Ebay for some but am not sure if they are all the same and if LHD ones are compatible with RHD. Theres 5 or 6 I think and the arm on each one is a different colour. I think the Flap that controls the hot cold on the passenger and drivers sides are Purple and Red, but I could be wrong.

They are located behind the covers on the sides of the centre console.
