Default Car seems like it wants to stall when coming to a stop?

Hello everyone.

I have a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro with a 5-speed Auto.

Lately, when cold. The car seems like it wants to stall if i come to a somewhat sudden stop. The RPMs drop and it runs really rough for a second. It stalled on me once or twice then started back up.

The transmission fluid was recently replaced with a new filter. I am wondering if i underfilled it?

Any thoughts? Possibly MAF on its way out or needing cleaning?

Is this a quattro tip, FWD tip, or a CVT automatic?

My mass airflow sensor just went out at 94xxx. Car would die when idling low, but if I pressed the gas and held it above 1500 rpms it would stay running fine. Might also try cleaning your throttle body.

IS it chipped? My 1+ with 386cc injectors does that once in a while, too. Try cleaning the throttle plate like the guy above said. Could help.
