car staying hot
i dont see this being a major problem, but im just checking on here JUST incase
this happend today, i drove around town to get stuff done, and once i was home for about two hours i went back into my car and the gauge told me it had not cooled down one bit needle still pointed dircetly in the middle, but it never goes higher than the needle while driving, nor do i get the coolant warning in my cluster
extra info- got my timing belt done tuesday, coolant was flushed a few times to try and get the heat up and running, but that failed so yeah.
Thanks
Tim

yeah, my car heats up....very quickly about 3 or so minutes from a cold start wasnt like this before the coolant flush
i just got finished with a 3 hour drive from ny to rhode island and the needle stayed exactly in the middle, i even took a peek under the hood to see if i could even feel a heat difference and there was nothing out of the ordinary

Does your needle move at all, ever? If not, I'd vote temperature sensor first and then gauge. My water temperature runs dead center, even in very hot weather, when the car is at operating temperature. But it does drop to "cold" after 1-2 hours depending on outside temperature. The oil temperature gauge tends to vary more depending on how hard I drive the car.

it does move, just stays hot for a few hrs but usually it went down quicker
the reason i posted this was concern for like quicker wear on parts, since it stays at operation temp. but there is no air going into the engine or anyother problems i wouldnt know about.
