okay my cat is damaged beyond repair. rather than paying the insane amount of a new one i much rather just put a test pipe or downpipe in its place.

the majority of the aftermarket ones i'm finding are 3" inches, i was wondering if that would work. i'm pretty sure the stock diameter of the exhaust is around 2.25 inches so that seems like a bit of a stretch i know the most likely route would be 2.5 inches i'm just having a hard time finding as much of a selection for that.


also i really want to know do test pipes/downpipes bolt in or do they need to be welded in because looking underneath the car it looks like it goes. flange/cat/pipe/flex/pipe sleeve and theres no second flange so i dont know where the second flange would bolt to?
