Default Check Engine light updated

Ok so I've been dealing with a check engine for about 2 months now. I've replaced the MAF sensor, air filter, spark plugs, and added fuel injector cleaner and there was no change. When changing the spark plugs I found out that the first plug had a good amount of oil on the spark plug from the head gasket leaking. After letting my car sit for 10 days without turning it on (went on vacation), the check engine light had gone off. After starting it for the first time in 10 days the check engine light immediately came on and started to blink for about 5-10 seconds and then just came on solid after that. It was idling very rough almost like it was going to shut off but after a minute or so it was back to "normal" or where it was before I went on vacation. I'm thinking that there is so much oil in the spark plug chamber that it is causing a miss fire in the cylinder and causing a rough idle.

Can this be what is happening?

It's probably a coilpack. What code are you getting from the cel?

Ok this may be a nub question but first how do you test which one is defective without a OBDII scanner or VAGCOM and second is this the coils you guys are talking about?

Again sorry if this has been posted already.

The second one is the stock version. U just have to make sure its the revised one or u will continue to burn coils and buy new ones.

I looked on ECS and and Dubtuning, the only parts for the 3.0 coils is the 115L, I know the 1.8Ts use the 115R which is the revision version for it. I already asked in Audizine but everyone is so focused on calling me noob that they never answered the question.

Default update

Ok so I checked each individual coil and each time I pulled one off the engine it equally got worse so I think I ruled that out. The car isn't running too bad but seems to miss every 5 -10 seconds or so at idle. I opened the bay and heard a weird hissing noise. I moved around some air hoses located behind the engine and the hissing went away and my engine idled a bit lower and back to what I perceived as normal. I provided a picture of what hoses I moved and circled it in red. The occasional misses still occurred though and my check engine light is still on but I've only driven about 15 miles on it since. I might have a vacuum leak but still don't know where. Is there an air flow or vacuum diagram anywhere?

What are those hoses for anyways?
