choppy pulling/bucking when switching gears

i have an automatic 02 a4..when im on the highway and my car is about to switch gears i feel like a choppy pulling/bucking of my car..is this just cuz its all wheel drive or something else??

I dont think this is normal. AWd has nothing to do with that. Any other weird things happening?
