Climate Control will not turn on

Climate Control will not turn on
04 Audi A4 1.8t. Climate Control buttons illuminate when car lights are on and off button on CC unit is lit red cause its off. But cannot turn it on for Heat or AC or anything but the 2 seat warmers in the CC unit do turn on the heat for the seats. I have checked fuses by opening driver door and pulling off side panel. All fuses are good. Pressed all of the buttons and checked for sticky buttons and nothing. Is there another fuse or relay that I could be missing that is else where.
Also front and back defrosters will not turn on either.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Stephen.

Hi Stephen, I noticed no reply from anyone and no update from you, do you still have the problem? If so, I would try and reset the Climate Control using VCDS if you have it, if not then you can reset it by disconnecting your battery, leave it for 10 minutes then reconnect. But make sure you have your radio security code otherwise you may not be able to use the radio again....

Thank you
I ended up fixing it. Tried reset via VCDS and also did battery after that failed. Went to junk yard and replaced the Climate Unit for $106 and it works now. I also had to replace 11 blown fuses and the anti theft module under driver seat floor ( 8e0 959 433 bb)

Long story short
I had taken my car to the shop for them to put a new down pipe on and diagnose a secondary air issue and they ended up blowing the fuses and both modules. But when I posted in here I have already replaced fuses. The shop wouldnt own up for what they did. So was stuck with bill but thankfully junk yard had what I needed and gave me a great deal and price in climate unit and anti theft module...i guess some call it the BCM (Body control module)

Glad it turned out well in the end, yeah shops aren't always the best place eh? Especially with these cars, it can get expensive if care isn't taken.... I have done so much on my two Audi's myself over the years and saved a small fortune, now I just don't want to part with them
