Clutch Recommendations
Looking to upgrade the clutch & flywheel on my 1.8TQM 5 spd. The clutch isn't toast (yet) but I can't stand this clutch (release point and how it grabs). Either way it's original clutch and I know I'll be changing it soon enough anyways.
Mods are: GIAC stg 1 (chip, injectors, FPR, TIP, DV)
I am NOT looking to go Big Turbo in the future, if anything I would do K04 if I run into a good deal or my Turbo goes out.
I don't mind an "aggressive gripping" clutch but not looking to brake the bank because this is my daily and I'd rather spend money elsewhere.
I'm looking to spend no more than $1000 shipped for the kit. If I can save money I will that's why I've thrown the Valeo kit in there for $500.
Based on my criteria what would you suggest:
Valeo w/ SMFW Conversion

I put in an Awe stage2 at 89k and now have 155k on the car. No difference in pedal pressure. The lightweight flywheel does spin up faster, but the rpm's also drop more quickly when I take my foot off the gas (less inertia to keep it spinning). No difference in gas mileage. Also replaced throw-our bearing.
